What I learnt frm my aunt's wed:
1) I want my parents seated near the pelamin and give out souvenirs
2) Souvenirs will be sthg small and convenient. Towels, soaps n cups r kinda common.
3) I will have an exit/entrance sign
4) I will allocate a timeslot for each family/friends to come
5) In fact, i might make my friends come during dinner
6) Have a local live band playing during dinner
7) Invite more Chinese. Yea, they take a longertime to eat but they give more money. Heh.
It was kind of a grand wed last sat. In a cc. D food's great. Zubir Abdullah's "band" was their choice of music. Nobody seems enthu 'bout them tho. I dint help out muc too. Not even mingle. Was pretty beat, tats y. Been sleeping fer less thn 4 hrs for past 3 nights. Thx to attachmt and projects. So i jz laze ard n tink hw i wud want my wed to b. And wat i cud hv improve on frm tiz wed.
My feet were killing me. Hw the hell do u manage to walk n pose in that stillettos, my dear aunt?! Maybe i shud marry someone short so i dun hv to wear those. Hah. Or better, go the very traditional way whr i dun even hv to put on any footwear.
The "conclusion" of their wed was at Four Season's Hotel the next day.This "Brunch" ting. A last small gathering betwn her frens n close cousins before they left for Hawaii for 2 long weeks. Wat a life!! Bet u they will still hv a fortune left when they get old. Filthy rich they are. If only i will b their daughter.
Anw, it was Hawaiian style. Flower theme. Finally i gt to wear the green dress bf gave me. each guests received this gallon (hwever u spell it). U noe, the flower "necklace" the hawaiians wore.. Yea. And the food was suuuuuuuupeeerrb! Munching non-stop. Even took a plate of desserts. The chocolate cake/mousse is the best ting i ever tasted. It was oh-so-indulging! More than indulging! The taste's lyk still thr in my mouth. Awesome.
End the day wiv frens to flea mkt. the suckiest i ever been. Wth.
